John O'Donnell, CTO, Equator Technologies

John O'Donnell co-founded Equator Technologies, Inc., in 1996 with the intention of applying VLIW and Trace Scheduling technologies to a wide range of products. Clientele included DEC, Intel, Fujitsu, NEC, and Texas Instruments. Prior to Equator, Mr. O'Donnell was a co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Multiflow Computer, Inc., which pioneered VLIW architecture and Trace Scheduling compiler technologies. He was Chief Architect for Multiflow's VLIW processors and led all engineering including the development and refinement of the company's Trace Scheduling compilers. Mr. O'Donnell holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University.



Jerome Richter, Business Manager, digicast

Jérôme Richter has worked in media technology sector since the mid 1990’s. After having obtained his degree in computer systems engineering from Renselear Polytechnic Institute (Upstate New York), he was in charge of various notable video streaming projects in the U.S. In 1997, he was responsible for the technical supervision and realization of RPI’s MBA E-Learning Program. In 1998, he was entrusted with various corporate streaming projects by Nortel Networks Boston (MA). From 1999-2000, Richter worked on a satellite-based network-caching system while working for Edgix Corp. (NY city). Between 2002 and 2004, he was engaged as a service manager for streaming-media at T-Systems, a Devision of Deutsche Telekom, in Berlin, Germany. Since 2004 Jérôme Richter is the business manager of digicast.
